Lisa is an international award-winning brand strategist, marketer and creative director, who creates brands that are as good for business, as they are for the greater good.
A former journalist, Lisa is passionate about the power of story and how it impacts consumer behavior. With clients ranging from ocean conservation organization Sailors for the Sea, founded by David Rockefeller, Jr., recording artist and environmentalist Jack Johnson and Target Corporation, to small, enterprising boutique brands, her campaigns educate and activate consumers while building awareness and driving impressive results.
Her unique and innovative process that reveals the soul of brands, goes beyond traditional DNA strategy to form a data-driven, creative platform informing every aspect of an organization’s messaging—from typography to telephone on-hold music. Her agency’s logo designs, taglines, ads, websites and more have launched and evolved organizations, resulted in double-digit sales growth and created movements. Lisa has held senior positions within two mission-based advertising agencies as well as at The Utne Reader and The Organic Center. She founded Minneapolis’ first green marketing agency in 1990 and also produced and appeared in Earth Trends, a NBC affiliate environmental TV series segment.
An avid traveler and explorer, you might find her creating campaigns while scanning the horizon from a volcano in South America, working from a thatched hut in Bali, or a beach in Sydney. With a creative support team based across the U.S., Lisa is headquartered in Santa Barbara, California.
